The Educational Theatre Association is the leading association for theatre educators. We can connect you to thousands of theatre educators and professionals. Through our student honorary organization, the International Thespian Society, we can put you in touch with more than 120,000 high school and middle school students.

EdTA offers several opportunities throughout the year to exhibit at events, affording personal interaction with highly engaged theatre students, educators, and teaching artists.

  • The International Thespian Festival is a week-long immersion in theatre arts attended by up to 6,000 high-achieving middle and high school drama students and their teachers.
  • The EdTA National Conference attracts approximately 500 theatre educators from across the country for state-of-the-art presentations by national thought leaders, workshops, and professional development intensives.
  • The EdTA Leadership Summit brings together the 150 decision-makers for the organization from the state and national levels for three days of strategic planning, briefings, and workshops focused on organizational best practices.

Digital Advertising for Teachers is EdTA's comprehensive website for teachers, providing information for members and resources for the wider theatre education community. It is the portal to microsites for segments of membership and for major events like the International Thespian Festival and the EdTA National Conference. It averages about 38,000 users and 110,000 page views per month.

EdTA's email newsletter for educators, Teaching Theatre, is delivered to approximately 5,400 adult members every other Wednesday. Featuring popular programming and timely resources from Theatre Educator Pro, EdTA's professional learning portal, as well as key member news, the newsletter averages open rates above 30% and click-to-open rates of more than 8%. 

EdTA's Theatre Education Community, open to all educators and professional members, provides an excellent online resource for questions, tips, and product recommendations. More than 10,000 users receive the daily email digest and access the online forum.

Digital Advertising for Students and Teachers is EdTA's online home for student content, targeting the middle and high school members of the International Thespian Society, and all theatre students. Content includes practical tips, student interviews, profiles of theatre professionals, quizzes, polls, photo galleries, and other interactive features.

The companion Dramatics Digest email newsletter is delivered every other Tuesday to more than 30,000 engaged student readers.
